Q: Is a private day charter different from a shared day trip?

Yes. A shared trip puts your booking on a fixed group schedule with other travellers. A private charter reserves the whole boat for your party, so stops, pace and departure time are arranged around your group.

Q: Can a single day still include dragon trekking?

Yes — a ranger-guided walk on Komodo or Rinca is a standard stop alongside Padar and a snorkel site. If the day is tight we prioritise either the trek or a second reef stop rather than rushing both.

Q: Do I need to stay overnight to see the park properly?

Not necessarily. A day charter covers Padar, Pink Beach and a dragon island. More remote dive sites and a slower pace are what push people to a multi-day charter.

Q: What happens if the weather changes the route?

Conditions in the park shift. The crew reorders stops or substitutes an anchorage for safety and tells your group at the time.

Q: What is not included?

National park entrance and activity tickets collected at the gates, dive equipment if you dive rather than snorkel, alcohol, and crew tips.

Q: How early does it start?

Between 05:30 and 06:30 from the harbour. The early start is what buys the calm sea and the light on Padar.
