Day two, dawn Rinca dragons
Guided walk while the dragons are basking and foraging, before the heat.

Duration silo · 2 nights aboard
The shortest charter that reaches the dragons, the ridge and the reef properly. Seventy hours, two nights at anchor, and a route with nothing padding it.
Why three
Anything shorter and the sailing eats the trip. Three days is the point where transit stops being the dominant part of the schedule.
It suits people extending a work trip, families tied to term dates, and anyone who wants concentration rather than a slow week.

Day by day
A typical rhythm. Every charter is customised, and the order moves with weather and tide.
Day one
Arrive Labuan Bajo, transfer to the yacht early afternoon. Briefing, cabins, then straight out to a nearby reef to acclimatise. Sunset at anchor, dinner, early night — travel days are tiring.
Day two
Pre-dawn departure for Rinca and a ranger-guided dragon trek while the animals are active. Brunch aboard, then premium snorkelling at Crystal Rock or the Pink Beach reef. Evening as the group wants it.
Day three
Morning at Manta Point when the season allows, or Padar and Pink Beach if not. Midday cruise back with lunch aboard. Ashore mid-afternoon for evening flights or a hotel night.
Manta Point is seasonal — roughly November to April. Outside that window we substitute a reef site rather than promise an encounter that will not happen.
The four you came for
Not a sample of Komodo. The signature stops, done at the right hour.
Practicalities
Three days needs very little from you. These are the only things worth planning around.
Mid-afternoon flights into Labuan Bajo work best. Early arrivals gain an activity.
Casual clothes, swimwear, sun protection. Linens and towels are aboard.
Trails are 3–5 km at a leisurely pace. No special fitness required.
Rentals are aboard; bring your own mask if you have a preference.
Ashore mid-afternoon on day three. Evening domestic flights are fine.
April to December is calmest. Mantas run roughly November to April.
Three or four?
This is the only real decision on this page, so here it is without spin.

The upgrade
If you are certified and came to dive, take the fourth night. If you came for the dragons and the view, three is genuinely enough.
Getting on board
Group size, travel window and whether anyone dives.
We match the boat to the party and hold the dates.
Via Jakarta or Bali. Transfer and park permits handled here.
Early afternoon embarkation, first snorkel the same day.
Flight timing
Lining your inbound flight up with the charter start avoids an unnecessary hotel night in Labuan Bajo and buys you more time aboard.
